The auditorium of the University of Twente in Enschede in the Netherlands had very special requirements.

The seat rows in the auditorium are arched and comprise several sectors. Eight versions of the seat in different widths were made to make the ends of the rows straight and neat. The variation in width, however, is too small for the naked eye to notice.

The placement of the foldable writing tablets required special attention because the seat and the back in front of it are never perfectly aligned and we had to design and dimension each seat separately.
